Permanent Address is a documentary photography series exploring the relationship between cemeteries and suburban sprawl. Placing these spaces in the context of the surrounding built environment, the project considers the contrast between the permanence associated with burial grounds and the continual expansion and transformation of the suburbs around them.​

 

Through the observation of these landscapes, the series examines how places of remembrance coexist with the demands of development. Cemeteries serve as spaces dedicated to preserving memory, while the surrounding suburbs reflect growth, change, and the ongoing reshaping of the landscape.​

 

Permanent Address invites viewers to look more closely at the relationship between memory, place, and development, and to consider what remains permanent in an environment defined by change.
